We want to help you reconnect with your peers and clients in a safe setting, that’s why we have been working hard to ensure that our venue hire is safe for you and your guests. Some of the changes we have implemented include one- way route, signage, additional cleaning times and reduced capacities.
As part of our commitment to due diligence and ahead of reopening on 7th October, we have secured the much sought-after AIM accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association (mia) and the ‘We’re Good To Go’ certificate by Visit England.
Why is this important? AIM is is the UK’s only recognised quality standard for venues and service providers in the meetings, conferences and events industry and has 50 strict criteria that venues must meet to achieve accreditation. It exists to assist and protect customers in their purchasing decisions. By being accredited we demonstrate operational excellence and commitment to continuous improvement.
Additionally, we have been certified as “We’re Good To Go” Covid-19 Industry Standard Certificate in partnership with The National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The certificate gives visitors total confidence that the venue is following and will continue to follow the latest Government guidelines.
We feel both achievements are a fantastic testament to the highly experienced and dedicated team at Wellcome Collection. The AIM and ‘We’re Good to Go’ mark provide event organisers a benchmark of the highest standard and gives confidence to event organisers and attendees to visit our unique venue.

Event attendees can visit our free museum, galleries, café, shop, library and conference centre making their experience with us unique and stimulating.
Our event spaces comprise of an auditorium, a lounge – which ideal for catering and exhibitors, four meeting rooms and unique spaces such as The Reading Room, Being Human Gallery, the Atrium and our famous Private Dining room, all ideal for evening events or filming.
