The Royal College of Music (RCM) in South Kensington has announced its new accredited supplier list for events held at the world-famous institution from 2021. Offering a variety of event options for clients, the industry-leading suppliers will be accredited for the next two years, chosen for their high standards and expertise in creating stand-out events at the venue.
Top catering options will be available from industry experts A&B, Food by Dish, Food Show Ltd, Imperial College Catering and Moving Venue, allowing organisers to tailor their catering choice to their event setup and design.
On hand to transform the venue with floral arrangements will be Lavender Green, Pinstripes and Peonies, and Wild About, all of whom are adept at transforming the varied spaces in the Grade II listed building, from subtle flourishes to all-out displays.
Clients hosting events at RCM will benefit from in-house production teams and facilities, as well as the option of using external suppliers. RCM Studios provides a wide range of professional-quality services and facilities, including music recording, video production and web streaming, with the in-house team offering a range of professional services from amplification for announcements, to full music reinforcement for a band, jazz group or orchestra. For events in the Britten Theatre, the dedicated technical theatre team will be on hand to meet all production needs having managed many different events from full-scale opera productions and concerts to product launches. The Britten Theatre features a proscenium arch, orchestra pit, full fly system and excellent technical facilities, all of which the theatre team can support with.
In addition to the in-house production teams, accredited external suppliers Delta Live and White Light bring their extensive experience which can be utilised by clients for their events.
Sam Glenister-Batey, Head of Events and Venue Hire at the Royal College of Music, says: “We are so excited to reveal our new supplier list, maintaining some great existing relationships while welcoming some new ones. We are committed to providing clients with a range of versatile options for their events and are looking forward to working with all of them to host some truly memorable face-to-face events when we reopen the RCM in July 2021 following our £40m redevelopment.
“As a charity and place of education, each and every event held here with us helps to support the development of the next generation of talented musicians, and it is our ambition at RCM that no student should be denied an RCM education due to lack of funds. As such, part of the money raised through venue hire goes to support the RCM Scholarship Fund.”
