Leading conference, events, meetings and exhibition centre, The QEII Centre, has launched its new ‘Our London’ campaign. The multichannel campaign features an innovative digital storybook, created by QEII to celebrate and promote London as one of the world’s premier destinations for business events.
The central London venue created Our London as a guide for national and international event organisers considering hosting business events in the capital. It is intended to spark inspiration, dispel myths, and open the door to the myriad possibilities that London offers to help create exceptional business events in the capital.
With contributions from London & Partners and ABPCO, the first edition includes a deep dive into London’s sectors, an exploration of its burgeoning tech scene, an examination of its credentials as an association destination, a glimpse inside lesser-known green London, and a whistlestop tour of London’s hidden hotspots.
Mark Taylor, Chief Executive, The QEII Centre said: “We’ve been located in the heart of this beautiful city since 1986 and we wanted to share our London with event organisers from the UK and across the world who are considering holding an event in London. ‘Our London’ is a celebration of the different elements that go into making London so unique: it’s a destination for everybody – one that is welcoming, inclusive, forward-thinking, multicultural and vibrant.”
Tracy Halliwell MBE, Director of Tourism, Conventions & Major Events at London & Partners, said: “London is always buzzing with new things happening in the events scene. There are new venues, hotels, and cool places to eat and drink popping up all the time. But with all this change, planning an event here can get a bit tricky. That’s why the QEII’s ‘Our London’ campaign is so great! It makes it easier and more exciting to choose London as the go-to spot for business events.”
