The Bowls Club have partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) to support seriously ill children and their families at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
As one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, GOSH has transformed the lives of so many families. From ground-breaking research into rare or complex diseases to the development of world-class facilities and equipment which help give children from across the UK the best chance to fulfil their potential, the hospital is globally recognised as an international centre of excellence. It also holds a special place in the hearts of the Bowls Club, having played a significant role in the lives of both of the Founders, Chris Scriven and Will Goy. The pioneering work that its clinical teams carry out every day has ensured the long-term health of Chris himself as well as Will’s young daughter.
“We’re delighted to be working in partnership with The Bowls Club, as they bring excitement and enjoyment to individuals and teams taking part in some friendly, competitive bowls. The money raised from our partnership will help support the seriously ill children and their families who undergo treatment and care at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and I know this cause is personally important to The Bowls Club team. I’m looking forward to seeing how much we can raise together, and I’m particular looking forward to taking my team down to The Bowls Club site for a game or ourselves.”
