Winter Gardens Blackpool has announced Suzi Barnes as its news Head of Conference & Event Sales.
Suzi joins Winter Gardens Blackpool from Village Hotels, where she was Director of Hotel and M&E Sales at the chain’s Blackpool property. Prior to this, she worked as a Meetings & Events Sales Manager for the group.
In her new role, Suzi will lead the Winter Gardens Blackpool’s conference and events sales team, which also represents the town’s newest venue – the Blackpool Conference & Exhibition Centre. Suzi will also be key in creating business strategies to help attract new business to the venues.
Discussing her appointment, Suzi Barnes said: “Winter Gardens Blackpool is an iconic venue in Blackpool and is an incredible asset to the town’s business events scene, with its wide variety of conference spaces, including the brand-new conference centre. Winter Gardens Blackpool has a wonderful history, and I am looking forward to getting stuck in and supporting the venues hard working sales team.”
