Stott will lead EMEA Sales efforts for Sport, Entertainment and Group bookings whilst increasing brand awareness for global next-generation hospitality brand
Sonder, a leading next-generation hospitality company that is redefining the guest experience through technology and design, announces the recent appointment of Nic Stott as Key Account Director for EMEA. Bringing over 12 years of sales and account management experience to Sonder, Stott will drive brand awareness throughout the region and increase group travel opportunities by supporting the Sports, Entertainment, and group travel sectors as Sonder continues to grow.
“As we continue to expand our sales presence across the globe, we are fortunate to have Nic join and lead the group sales efforts for our EMEA-based accounts,” said Drew Parker, Director of Global Sales at Sonder. “His expertise in B2B sales and his deep network of high-value customers will be invaluable as we continue to scale brand awareness and understanding on our mission to revolutionize hospitality through design and technology, to make a world of better stays open to all.”
Stott’s main aim is to support EMEA based Sport, Entertainment and agency group accounts to help increase their awareness of Sonder and assist with any group travel requirements. With Sonders innovative approach to travel, there is huge potential for clients to experience a better way to stay for all.
“I am thrilled to join Sonder and start telling the brand story across EMEA. It’s exciting to be part of an innovative and ambitious company which places guests at the forefront of everything we do,” Stott said. “Having the opportunity to launch an exciting brand is an exciting responsibility and a challenge that I am very much looking forward to.”
Prior to joining Sonder, Stott was a key member of the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts worldwide sales team in London. He has worked with the group travel and events industry for the last 12 years and has grown an extensive network of customers and industry peers.
Sonder operates in 40+ markets across ten countries, and has approximately 17,400 live and contracted units worldwide as of Q2 2023. The company distinguishes itself in the hospitality industry through modern design and by using technology to deliver a frictionless guest experience at a lower cost structure. The Sonder app puts guests in full control of their stay – from booking, to interacting with guest services, to check-out – via their own mobile device.
Sonder recently announced that over a third of its properties are in the top 10% of Tripadvisor listings, and also announced its continued expansion in Florida and in EMEA.
