Social Entertainment Ventures (SEV), the UK and US experiential leisure operator, is planning to reopen its existing portfolio on a phased basis from the beginning of August. It is also aiming to launch its new bingo concept Hijingo in London in the autumn, having originally been due to open in March.
In the UK the first London venue to reopen will be Bounce Old Street on 5th August followed by Bounce Farringdon on 9th September. Hijingo is due to be launched no later than October in Worship Street, London.
The reopening of SEV’s US venues will also begin in early August starting with their two Flight Clubs in Chicago and Boston, which SEV operates under licence, followed by AceBounce in Chicago.
SEV has invested significant resources during the lockdown to ensure that on reopening all of its venues will diligently apply government and state guidelines to protect both staff and guests.
Toby Harris, CEO commented: ‘We’re confident that the size and layouts of our venues will allow us to provide the safest possible of entertainment environments without them losing their heart and soul. Initially we’ll operate with fewer playing areas and restricted capacities but we hope our guests will be able to have as much fun as ever.’
