Today, Tuesday 14th March, the north London venue is inviting caterers from all cultures within the British landscape, to make an expression of interest to be a part of its prestigious list.
Head of events Rhiân Pressley said “each year we host a diverse programme of events for a wide range of people and cultures. Now we are widening the search and looking for caterers to reflect this and provide food that authentically captures the nuances of each culture.”
Roundhouse is seeking caterers from every delectation from contemporary British, European, Afro-Caribbean, Asian, South American, Kosher, Halal, Street Food and fully plant-based menus that offer a wide range of options.
Pressley continued “On top of our live music shows we also host a great number of charity galas and award ceremonies for up to 850, conferences for up to 1,000 delegates, receptions for up to 1,800 plus fashion shows, car launches, premieres, and literary festivals. Our, the requirement is extremely varietal.”
The contract will last for three years and be reviewed again in 2026. Interested caterers must show that they have a proven track record in catering for 500+ guests and have the ability to bring in necessary equipment to the catering marquee. Sustainability is also a key requirement whereby the business must show the actions taken to reduce waste, mileage and consideration of the environment. Successful caterers will also demonstrate how they align with Roundhouse’s ethics and show how they support and share their commitment to the values of driving change, celebrating differences and being accountable.
Expressions of interest can be made via the website link from the 14th March until 14th April. Invitations to tender will be made on Friday 28th April. Full documents will be required by 2nd June, with interviews also taking place during June. Tastings will take place in July with final decisions being made in September and the new list will be announced in October.
