Rhubarb Hospitality Collection (RHC) has acquired The Brewery, one of London’s leading large scale event venues.
RHC’s investment in this landmark events venue expands the firm’s footprint in UK venues and brings its total employees to over 2500. RHC has continued to grow rapidly since its acquisition by Oak View Group (OVG) in 2023, which represented the biggest UK hospitality deal in decades. OVG is the global leader in live experience venue development, management, premium hospitality services, and 360-degree solutions and has recently opened Co-op Live in Manchester, UK where RHC provides hospitality service.
The Brewery, located in the City of London, hosts more than 500 events annually and has long been considered the City of London’s premier corporate event venue.
The Brewery’s existing management team, led by Chief Executive James Varah, will work with RHC’s Chief Executive, P.B. Jacobse, to develop a portfolio of premium event venues within the capital. The Brewery’shistoric Grade II listed space will continue to host memorable conferences, exhibitions, awards, and dinners for its clients.

It caters well over 5 million people every year at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Ascot Racecourse, Sky Garden, 22 Bishopsgate, immersive live entertainment experiences Mamma Mia! RHC also provides exceptional food, drink, and hospitality services at Co-op Live, the UK’s largest arena, and helps deliver the arena’s industry-leading sustainability commitments through its dedication to local sourcing.
