Hi, my name is Ben Mutton, I have worked in the events industry for many years and as with millions of people around the country I have had to re-evaluate and come up with new ideas for work. My main hobby has always been Mountain Biking and having grown up in Purbeck in Dorset, I thought it was time to finally mix business with pleasure and set up a guiding company around the area. So in July 2020 I officially launched Purbeck Bike Tours.
During the summer I became MIAS Level Two Qualified, First Aid Certified and a member of the Association of British Cycle Coaches, meaning that I am a fully-fledged mountain bike guide.
With my local trail knowledge I have put together several routes which give riders the chance to experience the thrills (and spills) that South Dorset has to offer. I can also tailor routes to suit rider ability, preferred distances and to include any of the many iconic sites around Dorset.
Groups of up to six riders can be catered for and equipment can be hired via a third party which we work closely with or clients can supply their own bike, helmet etc. The benefits of getting out in the countryside are well documented and the stunning Jurassic Coastline is unrivalled.
