The Museum of London is looking ahead to an exciting festive season with new Christmas party packages available at its London Wall and Docklands sites in collaboration with Seasoned Events and Bovingdons respectively.
With Christmas parties firmly back on the agenda as the ultimate morale booster and ‘thank you’ to staff, the museum has seen a consistent level of enquires with over 30 to date with 6 months still to go until the festive season commences.
The Museum of London and Seasoned Events are collaborating for the first time to offer an all-inclusive festive package sparkling with creative, contemporary, and delicious food from canape receptions to dinners and after parties. Clients can choose from a dinner, food station or reception menu for up to 400 guests seated or 800 for a standing drinks reception.
The festive package includes hire of the Entrance Hall, an expansive blank canvas space, and the impressive London Ellipse Hall, which features London’s only fully commissionable circular LED ellipse with integrated plasma screen. Unlimited drinks are included, as well as an AV package including PA system, staging, plasma screen, uplighters, and use of the LED digital ellipse. Festive packages at London Wall are available from £115pp +VAT (with minimum numbers applicable on key dates).
To really enhance the festivities, upgrades including Champagne, a spirits bar after dinner, an extra hour of drinks from 11pm, live entertainment and bands are also available at an additional cost.
A selection of reception, lunch and dinner packages are also available at the museum’s London Wall Bar & Kitchen this Christmas. This contemporary space provides an incredible backdrop for celebrations and will be transformed with stylish, festive-themed décor. Packages include unlimited drinks, canapes, a sit-down lunch or dinner menu and AV and are available from £137pp + VAT.
Over at the Museum of London Docklands, in collaboration with catering partner Bovingdons, guests will be able to party against the stunning backdrop of the River Thames in the Grade I listed warehouse. Guests will enter through the stunning Muscovado Hall amidst original pine columns decorated with twinkling lights and an impressive Christmas tree.
Sparkling wine will be offered as guests are immersed in London’s past as they explore the galleries, before moving into the main reception space where a delicious menu will be served. To create a more immersive celebration, actors can be hired to mingle with guests and really set the scene.
The festive package at Docklands includes full event support, drink and catering options and state of the art AV. Clients can hire the Riverside Room, which features its own entrance and private terrace, and includes one hours access to the second-floor galleries. Alternatively, the charming Wilberforce Room can be hired with one hours access to the No. 1 Warehouse gallery, which looks at how London’s historic docks and warehouses operated at the height of their success.

Upgrades include extra hours from 11pm – 1am to continue the party, guided tours, actors, and actresses, as well as Champagne on arrival, a spirits bar after dinner, goody bags and live entertainment.
