Alexander & Björck is D&D’s events catering arm and was co-founded with Lena Björck in 2015. Its regular clients include Lanvin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Bloomberg and Goldman Sachs.
Blueprint occupies the site of the former Blueprint Cafe, Sir Terence Conran’s restaurant which opened in 1989 at what was then the Design Museum.
It can now cater for events ranging from dinners for 30 guests to parties for 150 or more.
Lena Björck, co-founder of Alexander & Björck, said: “It’s a massive milestone for A&B to operate our very own venue, particularly in such an iconic space with its history of creativity and design…a perfect site for showcasing A&B’s gastronomic flair.”
