LGH Hotels Management is proud to announce the remarkable success of its largest-ever B2B campaign, Summer Pops. Launched to increase meeting and event bookings across its extensive UK portfolio, the campaign incentivised booking agents with unique prizes, and results have exceeded expectations.
Nearly 500 participants took part, with four corporate bookers and agents sharing a total prize pot of £12,000. These winners were recognised for their contribution to driving bookings throughout the campaign period.
In total, Summer Pops generated an impressive £18.8 million in enquiries, further cementing LGH’s status as a leading player in the UK corporate meetings market, with over 40 prime UK locations, 350 meeting rooms, and more than 7,000 bedrooms.
The campaign provided a significant boost to the post-pandemic recovery of the event sector. The UK Conference and Meeting Survey 2023 highlighted that while the industry is on the road to recovery, overall expenditure levels remain below 2019 figures.
LGH’s Summer Pops campaign aimed to ensure the sector continues to thrive, driving a remarkable 18% year-on-year growth in total revenue for the group.
Head of Agency Sales of LGH Hotels Management, Lydia Cunningham, commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled with the success of Summer Pops, which enabled us to showcase our fantastic venues with lots of engagement and fun along the way.
We love to reward our agency partners for their hard work and loyalty. The relationships we’ve built throughout this campaign will undoubtedly open new doors for us, and the sector as a whole, as we continue to host meetings and events across key UK locations.”
With the significant participation of booking agents, LGH has not only increased their potential revenue but also deepened its relationships within the industry, ensuring that the group remains at the forefront of the UK’s corporate, meetings and event market.
