Icetank is a blank canvas studio in the heart of Covent Garden and Holborn. White walls, modern technology and Danish design make it the ideal space for press days, private dining and corporate events.
Icetank Kitchen offers food workshops and demo’s focusing on a healthier, happier life. From vegetarian to locally produced, new food styles & celebrity chefs, Icetank Kitchen plans to inspire the foodie in everyone.
Q/ What was the inspiration behind you getting involved in corporate events?
The space was originally built as a photographic and film studio and is still used in this function by our parent company Packshot Factory. Many of our original clients asked if they could hire the studio for events and a new element of the business was born!
Q/ You have a varied client portfolio. Care to name a few? And what do you feel was the defining factor in establishing your relationships?
We are proud to have worked with many amazing, high end clients including L’Oreal, Coca Cola, John Lewis, Xbox and Office to name but a few. Flexibility and personality are 2 of our key attributes, we always work with our clients for the best possible event and want everyone to have a smile on their face!
Q/ What’s it like working with such big-name clients?
Brilliant! We are lucky enough to meet some phenomenal brand ambassadors and also sample some fab new products.
Q/ What preparation goes into your service?
Well, lots of painting! As a white space we are constantly painting and making sure everything looks bright and chic. In terms of the service we offer, we can tailor it to each client. So whether you want a dry hire or full event management we are here to help.
Q/ How important a role does ‘COOL’ play in events?
We have always thought of ourselves as the ‘coolest’ place in town! Our clients are cool, our space is cool, and our staff are pretty darn cool too! Icetank Kitchen is all about healthy living and we think that’s the new ‘cool’…
Q/ How do you prepare for a big event day?
Lots of sleep! We often open up at 6am for big events so it’s important to be fresh and alert. Communication & collaboration with our clients means we are always ready for anything.
Q/ What have experienced at any event in the past 12 months that has really got you excited?
We have so many fantastic events it’s hard to pick, but a recent favourite was for The Dogs Trust. We love to support charities and it was lovely to meet lots of furry friends. We are super social media savvy and you can find lots of great images of the day on our instagram (@icetank) and twitter feed (@icetankstudio) and remember #ADogIsForLife.
Q/ What would you like to see happen in the corporate events industry in the next 12 months?
