UK B-Corp hotel group, Exclusive Collection, is pleased to announce the expansion of its portfolio with the rebirth of Ansty Hall in Warwickshire. Rising with renewed vitality, the grade II listed Georgian manor has undergone an extensive renovation to breathe new life into its storied walls. Home of medieval legends and generation-defining authors, 62-key hotel Ansty Hall has a rich history intertwined with the town’s Shakespearean past and a commitment to innovation.
Set in eight acres of grounds in the Warwickshire countryside, Ansty Hall becomes the seventh country-house hotel in Exclusive Collection’s portfolio and extends the group’s reach towards the Midlands. Exclusive Collection’s extensive brand repositioning work with BrandSensory® served as a blueprint in bringing the house and region’s rich history and stories to the present. The interiors pay homage to the region’s heritage, local craftsmanship, with a nod to the once thriving weaving and textile past and innovative motoring industry. From art and pottery moulded by local hands and pioneering in-room technology to regionally woven upholstery and historic red brick facades, all these elements are mirrored subtly throughout the hotel’s interior design which was delivered by Russell Sage and Trevellion.

Art and literature enthusiasts will find themselves enchanted by the hotel’s Henry Library, named after author Henry Cadwallader Adams, who once owned this home – and includes a curated collection of his novels. Furthermore, drawing inspiration from Coventry’s historic “True Blue” dye, the red stone façade and surrounding countryside, the hotel’s colour palette and interiors subtly reflects its location.
The restaurant, aptly named Woven, celebrates Ansty, when it was once thriving with ribbon weaving, as Coventry’s cottage weaving industry boomed. Combining local craftsmanship and art, alongside elegant furnishings to create a stylish and relaxed atmosphere. The menu features classic British dishes peppered with local flavours and unexpected touches led by chef Ryan Swift. Afternoon Tea is served in the equally elegant tearoom and lounge the Ansty way. The ‘High Chai’ afternoon tea experience will continue to weave local flavours through its menu, alongside variations of Chai latte to compliment the typical array of teas guests would come to expect.
Neighbouring Ansty Hall is a charming church redesigned by Sir Gilbert Scott, famed architect of King’s Cross and St Pancras station. The quaint church and picturesque grounds make the hotel ideal for weddings. The property offers a range of spaces accommodating groups up to 160 guests for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, including The Orangery, a separate building from the main house with floor to ceiling windows and direct access out onto the grounds; and the Cedar room and Henry’s Library, both overlooking the gardens and the Gilbert Scott room with front facing views out to the Warwickshire countryside.
