Working from a home office or kitchen table, conference calling and video meetings, have all become part of the new normal working life since March, however with restrictions beginning to ease Exclusive Collection has seen consistent demand from businesses looking to bring their teams together following the last 5 months of business life lived through a lens.
Each of Exclusive’s 6-strong meeting and event locations have been working hard to create safe environments for face-to-face, in person meetings, and have taken this one step further with the introduction of ‘meeting pods’ or ‘bubbles’. These dedicated areas of the hotels can be exclusively allocated, limiting access to just one company meeting or event. Dedicated service staff will be assigned to each company event, while sections of bedrooms off a single corridor can be reserved to work hand in hand with conference rooms.
Exclusive hopes that the creation of an area or areas dedicated to an individual company event will add an extra level of reassurance for organisers and delegates that they will be welcomed into a safe, Covid-compliant environment.
Alongside the new ‘meeting pods’ or ‘bubbles’, clients are encouraged to build their own meeting experience, with Exclusive giving full flexibility for every aspect of the layout, room amenities, catering and service style. In addition to what is usually included in its meeting packages, Exclusive Collection will endeavour that meeting spaces have been left empty for at least 24 hours before use, whilst undertaking its high touch point cleaning programme and enhanced housekeeping regime, which includes the use of disinfectant fog, prior to arrival.
Stephanie Hall, Group Director of Sales & Marketing, said: “We’ve seen consistent demand from businesses looking to bring their teams back together face-to-face, whilst balancing the sensibilities around employee duty of care, health and safety. We’ve implemented far reaching health and safety procedures across our 6 event locations to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, and we hope the creation of our new ‘meeting pods’ or ‘bubbles’ will add an extra layer of reassurance that we are doing our upmost to keep everyone safe, and confident to meet face-to-face, as we navigate life post Covid-19.”
