Somerset House’s new landmark exhibition, CUTE, which explores the irresistible force of cuteness in contemporary culture, is sure to be the hot ticket for those looking to host super cute events this Spring.
Featured in Evening Standard’s ‘Best Exhibitions to see in London 2024’ and receiving rave reviews from critics across the world, CUTE offers organisers an immersive experience in the Embankment Galleries that embraces all things cute, bringing together contemporary artworks, including new artist commissions, and cultural phenomena such as fashion, music and video games.
The exhibition also celebrates the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty, one of the most iconic figures of cuteness. The show dedicates a plushie space, immersive disco, and a display of rare and unique items, spanning decades, to her.
CUTE is available to event organisers for a private exhibition viewing, which can be followed by a dinner for up to 50 guests, or a drinks reception for 100 within the exhibition itself.
Luci Sorrell, Head of Sales, Commercial Events at Somerset House, comments: “Cuteness has taken over our world – from emojis and internet memes to loveable food or robotic design. An interactive exploration of cute culture, all set within a spectacularly photogenic space to match, and you get the essence of what your event could look like this Spring. CUTE has had some amazing reviews as it draws on a part of culture that everyone can identify with.”
Somerset House is recognised for its diversified corporate event programming, which is proven to attract clients due to the generational and cultural diversity of its acclaimed shows.
