CONVENE ANNOUNCES INCREASED STANDARD COMMISSION FOR THIRD-PARTY AGENCIES ACROSS ITS ENTIRE PORTFOLIO

Convene and etc.venues to offer 10% commission to agency partners in the U.S. and UK

Convene, the largest single provider of dedicated meeting and event venues in the U.S. and UK, announced that it is standardizing its global commission percentage paid to third-party agencies across its entire portfolio – both Convene and etc.venues locations – to 10%.  The new commission rate will take effect for all programming that actualizes after July 1.

Third-party agencies will receive a 10% commission for all events held within the Convene portfolio, inclusive of etc.venues, via the following structure:

  • U.S . events – 10% commission will be paid on the actualized meeting package revenue, which includes the day delegate rate and/or reception packages.  
  • UK events – 10% commission will be paid on the value of the contracted booking (excluding VAT), which includes the day delegate rate, room hire, and pre-booked food and beverage.

Convene acquired etc.venues in February of this year, growing its global network of meeting, event, and flexible office locations to 39 venues across nine cities in the U.S. and UK.
