Following the success of its inaugural run, heart of London events venue, Church House, Westminster, is launching a new outsourcing service that will see its expert production team run events for clients offsite.
Providing even greater flexibility and choice, the new offering includes full set-up, running the event, and complete de-rigging post-event, all in a location where the client needs support most.
Bradley Hill, Head of Production at Church House, said: “Our people are the beating heart of Church House and, whether it’s here at the venue or somewhere else, we strive to go above and beyond to give our clients the very best. Playing to our strengths for agility, versatility and outstanding service, we’re delighted to be able to offer our clients this new type of support which gives them the reassurance of a strong, familiar team around them, without restricting them to a certain location – it’s the best of both worlds.”
The initial two-day event, at One Whitehall, involved a production team of eight assembling a high-profile conference for an overseas government with 250 delegates in attendance. The event, which required 10 tonnes of equipment and the creation of three breakout rooms, included the first-ever installation of an LED wall at the venue, five separate camera shoots with editing completed onsite, and the setting up of six side-screens showing live images. This is as well as full streaming of the event and the integration of a VMix System into the LED wall.
Church House is a leading conference centre in the capital, just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most iconic landmarks, and with stunning views of Westminster Abbey. Home to 19 dynamic and flexible events spaces which are expertly managed by in-house events and production teams, the unique venue can accommodate up to 664 guests. With its central location and excellent transport links, it hosts more than 800 events each year from conferences and product launches to drinks receptions and photoshoots.
