A luxury Rutland hotel played host to local businesses at the 18th edition of the Rutland & Stamford Mercury Business Awards – as it celebrated the very best of the county and surrounding area’s success.
Held on Friday (Sept 15th), the prestigious evening gala was proudly hosted in Rutland Hall Hotel’s brand new Pavilion building, the newest addition to its events and wedding offering – being able to accommodate up to 500 guests ahead of its official opening to the public in January.
The evening was hailed a great success by all those in attendance, shining a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of the businesses that drive economic growth and strengthen their local communities. In addition to hosting the event, Rutland Hall also proudly sponsored the winners’ champagne, adding a touch of elegance to an already glitzy evening.
This year’s event, sponsored by Upp, showcased excellence across ten categories. Winners included Birch Tree Cafe for ‘Best New Start Up’, The Blonde Best for ‘Business Innovation’ and MindSpace Stamford for ‘Team of the Year’.
Joanne White, Managing Director of Rutland Hall Hotel, said: “We are honoured to have hosted the awards in our fabulous Rutland Pavillion and extend our heartfelt congratulations to all winners. Here at Rutland Hall, we are dedicated to supporting local businesses and fostering a spirit of excellence within our community, so it was fabulous to be a part of this special celebration.”
Boasting an elegant and luxury decor style, the aptly named ‘Rutland Pavilion’ offers a picture-perfect view of the water from the Pavilion Lounge. This venue is perfectly suited for all types of occasions, including weddings, conferences, awards nights and gala dinners.
As the longest-established awards of its kind in the area, the Rutland & Stamford Mercury Business Awards has established itself as the premier business event in the Rutland region, bringing together decision-makers and industry leaders from across Stamford, Rutland, Bourne, and the Deepings.
Set within 70 acres of mature parkland in the UK’s smallest county, Rutland Hall offers breathtaking views, tranquil surroundings, and an array of facilities to suit every guest’s preference. The hotel is also a popular choice for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
