Butlin’s, the Home of Entertainment, has launched the UK’s first holiday resort indoor gaming activity centre as part of a £15M investment.

A brand-new £15M indoor activity centre, Butlin’s PLAYXPERIENCE opened yesterday (7th October) at the Butlin’s Bognor Regis resort – the first of its kind situated on any holiday resort in the UK and an exciting new addition to the C&E offering on resort.
The state-of-the-art attraction covers a whopping 50,000sqft across two floors, and is equipped with nine exciting activities* on offer, including: TechPutt, Escape Rooms, VR-cade, Glow Pong, Shuffleboard, Laser Tag, Batting Cage, Neo Games and Digi Darts, alongside a café and bar.
The VR-cade boasts several first on the market features, and each of the games utilise technology to create fully immersive experiences for attendees.
The brand-new facility is one of the largest of its kind in the UK, offering a seamless way for event planners to incorporate fun into any event and at great value.
The venue is also designed with accessibility in mind. The majority of the nine activities provide adaptations for guests with additional needs. PLAYXPERIENCE is also the second Butlin’s venue to be equipped with Changing Places Toilets.
The concept behind PLAYXPERIENCE takes into account national research conducted by Butlin’s revealing that more than three quarters of Brits (78%) admit to being competitive with their family and friends.
It’s fair to say that friendly competition translates to professional relationships as well. Especially as–despite the competitive nature of many–making lasting memories is the ultimate goal, with almost nine in ten (89%) of respondents stating they prioritise having a good time over winning.
