beam is delighted to announce Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity as its new charity partner. Rainbow Trust provides vital emotional and practical support to families across England who are facing unimaginable challenges. With over 86,000 children living with life-threatening conditions, the charity pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who offers assistance to parents, carers, siblings, and grandparents, helping them navigate their daily struggles.
Louisa Watson, Chair of beam, shared her enthusiasm for the new partnership:
“I’m delighted that The Rainbow Trust was unanimously selected as beam’s new charity partner! We are incredibly inspired by the amazing work they do supporting families with seriously ill children and are excited about the opportunity to collaborate for future initiatives.
“beam members are always passionate about championing meaningful causes, and we truly believe this partnership will help shine a light on the invaluable support Rainbow Trust provides across the UK. We’re looking forward to working together to make a real difference over the coming years.”
Katherine Burgess, Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager of Rainbow Trust shared:
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as beams’ next charity partner, and want to say a huge thank you to the Association for taking the time to learn more about the support that we offer to families caring for a seriously ill child. Rainbow Trust does not receive any government funding, and so we simply cannot provide our free service without this type of vital support “With some key dates already in the diary, we are excited to introduce members to our work. Most importantly, we are looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together so families can continue to receive the support they so desperately need.”
beam will support Rainbow Trust through fundraising at future events, including their Members Meeting on 30th April and Annual Forum on 3rd/4th July. They look forward to welcoming representatives from Rainbow Trust to share more insights and stories about the fantastic work they do.
