Dublin-based global events and experience management agency grow business development team to support rapid international expansion in UK, Europe, North America and Asia
Award-winning global events and experience management agency Davis Events has bolstered its senior business development team to spearhead the company’s rapid international growth in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia.
Clyde Carroll joins the Dublin-based agency as chief business officer. Gavin Brennan is the agency’s new global strategy & growth manager. Both are former Davis Events Agency clients who loved the team’s work so much they joined the agency. Brodie Thompson has been promoted to senior growth & strategy director and Caitríona Bairéad is the agency’s new head of client services.
“Business has been really strong for us since Covid and we’ve had the opportunity to work with increasingly global brands on international events and activations not only in Ireland, but also in the UK, throughout Europe, North America and even Asia,” said Paul Davis, Davis Events Agency CEO.
“We’ve recently signed a two-year renewal with one of our global clients. We have a brilliantly creative, boundary-pushing team here at Davis Events that delivers incredible events for our clients and now, with the appointment of Clyde and Gavin, and Brodie and Caitríona’s promotions, we have a business development team that can support our international growth and ambitions.”
Clyde Carroll
In his 13 years at DublinTown he was integral to growing Dine in Dublin, The DublinTown Food and Drink Festival, the Dublin Fashion Festival and Dublin at Christmas, the city’s Christmas campaign each year. He has sat on multiple Failte Ireland tourism strategy committees including the committee that oversaw the creation and implementation of the tourism brand for Dublin. He was a member of the board at Innovate Dublin, serving as the organisation’s chairman for two years, and was lead lecturer in event management at the Fitzwilliam Institute for the last 17 years.
“I have long admired Paul Davis and the Davis Events crew,” he said. “Paul is a legend in the events industry and – of course – a recent recipient of Outstanding Contribution at the Event Impact Awards. Paul and I first worked together to launch the Dublin New Year’s Eve concert, and our professional paths have intertwined for years since.
“Davis Events Agency creates unforgettable experiences that excite and engage audiences all over the world. They are an incredibly hard working, creative and passionate team that has – deservedly – enjoyed meteoric growth since Covid. We have incredibly exciting times ahead of us and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Gavin Brennan
Gavin joins Davis Events Agency from Keywords Studios – a Global gaming tech company now valued at over $2bn and one of the biggest gaming tech companies in the world, and was previously in a senior role in Websummit, leading one of the world’s biggest tech conferences and expos.
With over 10 years of experience across the music, technology and video game industries, Gavin Brennan specialises in global event strategy, marketing, and brand development. He has led international event programmes, large-scale activations and thought leadership initiatives that connect brands with audiences worldwide. His background as a performer and musician brings a uniquely creative approach to event strategy, ensuring that audience experience remains at the heart of every activation.
“I’m excited to be joining Davis Events at such a transformative time. The agency’s reputation for delivering world-class experiences is unmatched, and its continued expansion into the tech and video game sectors presents incredible opportunities. I look forward to collaborating with our clients and partners to develop forward-thinking event strategies that push boundaries, drive meaningful engagement and truly resonate with audiences,” he said.
Brodie Thompson

The possibilities for companies and brands leveraging experiential marketing are endless — it’s a proven strategy to drive growth and deliver measurable results,” said Brodie.
Caitríona Bairéad
Caitríona is Davis Events Agency’s new head of client services. She joined the team in 2022 as account manager and was promoted to head of business development and marketing within 18 months before taking on the role of head of client services following an agency restructure.
“One of the brilliant things about Davis Events Agency – and Paul Davis, our CEO – is that it never stands still. We are always pushing boundaries, asking how we can do more, go bigger, be more creative. That’s within the team as well as for our clients and the events and experiences we create for them,” said Caitríona.
“We have big plans for growth, which are exciting and inspiring, and I’m looking forward to playing a key part in achieving these new goals. Building on the great relationships established with our client base and ensuring they are delighted with our service delivery at every stage of the project cycle is key to continuing our rapid growth trajectory and repeat business year on year.”
