GES EMEA is set to share its insights into social responsibilities and sustainable legacies when its Head of ESG, Kate Holliday, takes to the stage at this month’s International Confex at Excel London. The session, entitled Amplifying Event Impact: Strategies for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Legacies, aims to focus on how social and community impact programmes benefit both the delegates in the room, their experience, the content, but also leave a lasting legacy for events.
Kate will share details of GES’s expanding ESG programme, which most recently confirmed a partnership with charity, the National House Project (NHP). The project provides practical support to young people leaving care so that they can go on to live connected and fulfilling lives.
“We’re passionate about creating partnerships that offer a lasting legacy, and allow our staff meaningful engagement with projects,” says Kate Holliday, Head of ESG, GES EMEA.
The session is set to take place at 11am on Wednesday 26th February and Kate will be joined on stage by Jo Austin, Sales Director, Lime Venue Portfolio (MC), Sammy Connell, NASUWT / Chair ABPCO, Abena Fairweather, Managing Director, Legacy Events and Natalie Sykes, Sustainability Manager, Excel London.
