Christmas came early at the Museum of London Docklands as it welcomed clients and agents back to the museum for a festive-themed showcase event on Wednesday 10th November.
Guests were able to get a first glimpse of the new Riverside Room, which features exposed brick walls and original wooden columns and floors and benefits from its own entrance and private terrace. Hired in conjunction with the Muscovado Hall and Rum Store it means the museum can now accommodate up to 900 guests on one floor, with access to the terrace which offers views additional capacity for 350 and views of the Canary Wharf skyline and docks.
The evening also provided the perfect opportunity to introduce guests to the museum’s new catering partner, Bovingdons, who kept guests fuelled with delicious canapés, sumptuous winter bites and a ‘merry berry’ cocktail on arrival.
The museum’s ground floor and 3rd floor event spaces were set up in different formats with décor to continue the festive feel and showcase the versatility of the event spaces. Site visits took place throughout the evening enabling guests to get a closer look at the incredible galleries, which can be hired in conjunction with the main event spaces.
