Madame Tussauds
Shortly after the engagement became public news, Madame Tussauds cashed in on it with an announcement that a Meghan Markle waxwork will be unveiled in May, shortly before the wedding. No update on that at time of writing, but in the meantime you can hang out with the rest of the crew on the Royal Balcony.
Sketch
Sketch is an adult’s playground cleverly disguised as a Mayfair townhouse. An old favourite for cocktails, dinners and parties, but there’s always more to discover. Sketch is a complex and unique site. Conceived by French master chef Pierre Gagnaire and restaurateur Mazouz, it has attracted unprecedented media reaction for its myriad food, drink and entertainment styles since it opened in December 2002. Gagnaire’s culinary genius has inspired the menus throughout sketch. His eponymous Michelin three-starred Paris restaurant has a distinctive menu style, which Gagnaire had adapted for sketch. Executed by his acolytes, the food is imaginative, bold, ground-breaking and delicious. These two visionaries have come together to create sketch. Prince Harry Tour
Follow in the footsteps of the Ginger One on this two hour walking tour, which visits sites linked to Prince Harry and the rest of the Royal family and — some might say distastefully — claims to “follow in the footsteps of the two young princes as they bravely walked in their mother Princess Diana’s funeral procession in 1997”. You’ll also hear about Meghan Markle, and how the couple met. Starts Westminster station, £12/£10, book ahead, Sundays April-October.

Tobacco Dock Skylight Screening
Skylight, the rooftop at Tobacco Dock, is back this year with bars, street food, and activities such as pentanque. On wedding day, the proceedings will be screened up there on the roof, so you can kick back and watch while tucking into the food and drink on offer. Free entry, booking recommended for tables of more than 10 people on 19th May.
