{10 – 11} Carlton House Terrace, home to The British Academy and its hospitality partner Searcys, have been named as the official hosts for The Business of Events (TBOE) Parliamentary Reception and Dinner, which takes place on 2nd November 2022.
The invitation-only dinner follows the TBOE UK Policy Forum, which takes place on the same day at the QEII Centre. The dinner will be held in the Council Room and will celebrate the very best of seasonal British food.
Paul Jackson, Managing Director, Searcys said: “Business events are an important part of our portfolio at Searcys’ business – the company that started as an events caterer 175 years ago and so it is crucial for us that contribute to the conversation by supporting events such as The Business of Events, and build strong relationships with our industry colleagues.”
The reception and dinner will be attended by senior figures from across Whitehall, including members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Events, representatives from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, VisitBritain, representatives from this year’s official partners of TBOE and other senior industry leaders.
Catherine Owen, Head of Venue Sales, {10 – 11} Carlton House Terrace said: “TBOE is an exciting opportunity for us to welcome some of the most influential people from across the events sector to {10-11} Carlton House Terrace, and to show how we deliver great hospitality in an iconic setting, using the very best of British produce. After the disruption of the last two years, I am looking forward to showcasing our venue and to meeting new people at the Parliamentary Reception and Dinner.”
The official partners for this year’s event include Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), the All Party Parliamentary Group for Events, VisitBritain, MeetEngland, VisitScotland Business Events, Visit Wales, QEII Centre, ICC Wales and the Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP).
